What do you think of these ideas for the weekly assignment for I Campus grading?????
• Harcourt phonics worksheets
• Journal writing progress: writes 2-3 sentences independently +
• writes 0-1 sentence with lots of support -
• Monthly sight work check to gage progress of the words introduced
• Monthly ABC check for letter and sound recognition focusing on the letters you have formally introduced that month
• What about a participation score-Your child participated in the class discussion this week?
Suggestion:
Could monthly sight word and ABC assignments be done in place of guided reading groups one day a week?
Can the monthly assessments be a 75% or more accuracy +
less than 75% accuracy a -?

What about Unit/Topic tests for Language Arts and Math?

You can put the total number of points on a test and it will create a percentage for you! For example there are 8 problems on the Harcourt tests so you would put in 8 points and each question is valued at 1 point. It will calculate a percentage for you!
